Long Book Review

As a longtime bookworm, some of my favorite things to write are book reviews. Attached above please find a thorough review of Sara Taylor's debut novel The Shore, one of my favorite novels of 2015.

Short Book Review

I can talk forever about any given book, but I also know clarity and conciseness are important. Here is a much shorter book review I wrote recently for Samantha Hunt's Mr. Splitfoot.

Grant Writing

During my internship with the Girl Scouts of North East Ohio (GSNEO), I worked on numerous grant applications, letters of intent, and cover letters. Attached above are the cover letter and narrative portions of an application to the George Gund Foundation, which resulted in GSNEO receiving the full $10,000 requested.

Newspaper Arts & Life Article

This article covers an art show hosted by the New Media program at The University of Akron. For this piece, I attended the event, interviewed participants and professors, and researched the New Media program. I'm very proud of the work I put into it, and I feel it is a perfect example of my newswriting ability.
